Love Delusions

Dr.Fareed Minhas, Professor of Pyschiatry on love delusions,

" One day I was packing up after a hard days work when all of a sudden a RMC student showed up. He was totally devastated. On enquiring, he told me that his life was finished now. He loved a classfellow and now they were both graduating. Now she would go back home and never again will he get the oppurtunity to see her. He couldn't live with the thought of her not being in his life anymore. On further questioning I found out that this young man had talked to that lady only THRICE.

1- The first time was when she passed her First Professional, and he went up and congratulated her.

2-The second time she sang in a class function and he admired her singing,

3- When she passed her Second Professional, he went upto her again and this time the girl said, " Look, I'm not that type of girl" ( ahem ahem)


And he never again talked to her. Yet he said he knew she ahd feelings for him because of the way her friends looked at him (whatever that's supposed to mean). "

Dreams

Our surgery professor, Dr.Asif Zafar, said in his last lecture

" If you can dream it, you can do it"

And

"Don't let anybody steal your dreams"


But what do you do when people around you make sure that they crush your dreams?? When people around you laugh and mock your dreams because they are different. Just because you choose to follow a path that deviates from the mainstream? But then again all great men had a tough time, mostly because people of that time did not know the importance of that dream. They did not have the mental capacity to appreciate the boldness and consequences of that idiosyncratic thought. So all those people who think I'm going to choke, they better be ready for some attitude on my part when I do realize my dreams.

What KInd of People??

I remember as kids the things we were most scared about when going to doctors were injections and those weird instruments they used. A needleprick was hard to bear. That's how sensitive humans are. Or are they? What kind of people kill other people and that too unaware?? What kind of people use BOMBS, when they know it will hurt? What kind of people blow people to pieces literally?? What kind of people can stand seeing heads seperated from the trunk and limbs lying all around? What kind of people can see their fellow human beings charcoaled?? How can those little innocent kids grow into such animals, I ask!!??!!

A Thought

I wish people would learn to give credit where it is due, especially when someone works his/her ass off to make some event a success. And more than that, I wish we could shoot the people who only show up during the awards ceremony to take home the laurels when in the real sense they did nothing except eat, rest and have fun!!!!

Papervalue!!

Throughout our lives we are tested, evaluated and then marked. The marks we obtain are scribbled on a piece of paper and that piece of paper becomes the key to our future. Eventually that document becomes more important than us humans. Losing that paper means being screwed for sure.

Conclusion:- Documents/papers are more important than persons. Numbers are more valued than character. We might as well have been born papers. We'd be more appreciated...hehe!!!!! Be that paper be our educational certificates or our passports, we're judged by authorities on that piece of crap which has a tendancy to favour the selected few!!!!! And throughout our lives we have to compete to stay in that elite group. Craaaap!!!!!

Result!!

After the long agonizing wait, the result was finally declared on 6th of April, 2006. And I'm glad to say no more Pharmacology, Forensic medicine and General Pathology for me(at least at med school exam level) :)
